Top inlet/outlet arrangement, or raised bed arrangement with side

inlet/top outlet. Raised bed models offer less pressure drop.

1Flow rates are based upon a recommended contact velocity of 60 feet per minute. Physical capacities of the canisters will be greater. Increasing flow beyond the recommended values will decrease carbon efficiency. Air flows may be increased if additional canisters are plumbed in series to extend the Mass Transfer zone of the carbon bed but this reduces the effectiveness of a final polishing unit.
